OIPRC Invited Speaker Series

Each year the OIPRC hosts a number of leading academics from around the world as part of its Invited Speaker Series. These events typically run from 5:15-6:45pm on Thursday evenings at The Dorfman Centre, St. Peter’s College; if the venue or time is different, it will be noted on the Events calendar.

Robert Burrell gives The Herchel Smith Intellectual Property Lecture 2023 at Lincoln’s Inn

On Monday 23 October Robert Burrell, Professor of Intellectual Property & Information Technology Law, gave this year’s Herchel Smith Intellectual Property Lecture 2023 at Lincoln’s Inn, speaking on 'Intellectual Property Rights and Dirigiste Innovation Policies'.

Robert teaches and researches across all areas of intellectual property law, and is the author with Michael Handler, of Australian Trade Mark Law (3rd ed. 2023) and with Allison Coleman, of Copyright Exceptions: The Digital Impact (2005).
